No Love Lost

What is Love? Hmm the never ending question which sits on the lips of many. 

Personally I think each individual defines what this means to them. 

To some love is pain, to others love is life. 

I've had my fair share of it and if I'm very honest it was a beautiful thing. 

Greatest feeling. To love and to be loved in return. 

But sometimes we tend to lose ourselves in love. We focus so much on trying to love the other person that we often forget to love ourselves. How can you be loved in full when you don't even love yourself?

There's no manual in this world that can teach you how to love, you have to find it within you and let it flow.

Take a step back, do what you love doing, enjoy your own company and be comfortable with yourself. 

Don't go on a hunt for love, let it find you. 

Searching for it by any means necessary could be dangerous and could result in you losing yourself. 

Now I'm not saying be lazy with no ambition or any form of drive and then wait for Prince Charming to come look for you, it doesn't work like that. You would just end up with Mr Frog and no amount of kiss will transform them with your lazy self. 

If I would recommend anything it would be giving I Corinthians 13:4-7 a read. This is as close as it gets and even if you are not a Christian you could still have a read. Build upon this.

In life there are no shortcuts or easy way out and this also applies to love. 

You can't have a ready-made person or the "perfect" person.
"Ohh I'm waiting for Mr Right" well sorry to burst your bubble but my dear you will wait eternity before that happens because there's no such thing as 'Mr Right'.

You just need that one person that is right for you and perfect in your eyes despite their flaws. 

I know I'm stating the obvious but hey it needs to be said. 

Love without regrets. We are all going through a learning process in this life so let us learn as we go. Regrets only hinder you from moving forward because you are still hanging on to what "used to be". 

Love freely, try new things, enjoy the moments you have/had. It makes it that much better. 

If you've once loved don't lose faith you can still love again and they'll make everything worth it. Just be patient. All in good time.
